212 U: Internet Training
The best software in the world will not help you or your business if you do not know how to use that software. Understanding and knowing how to use all the features of our products helps you run your organization more efficiently. The Training Department at TOPS understands that you have a significant investment in software, and they are dedicated to ensuring that you get the most out of that investment.
We want to make sure that all of our customers are aware of the training and consulting options that are available to them. Some customers find it helpful to schedule training sessions when they hire new staff, or when they want to make sure that their staff is utilizing all the features available in the software they purchased. Even customers who have been using our software find it helpful to schedule occasional refresher training sessions to make sure that their staff stays current. Training sessions also help ensure that customers learn and implement new functions as we enhance our product line.
Other training opportunities available to our customers are the classes that our training department offers through our 212 U website, formerly TOPS U. Just as we have been working to enhance our software, we are working on expanding the curriculum of classes that we offer. One new class that will be offered is a class on basic accounting. Many of the questions our trainers are routinely asked are more accounting than software related. This new class was created to help customers understand some of the basic accounting principles and procedures used in the community management industry, and in our software products. We believe that a better understanding of the processes behind our software will lead to a customer maximizing the efficiency and use of all the features of our software. Look for this new class to be offered in September on our 212 U website at www.212university.com.
We will continue to highlight training opportunities, questions and ideas in future articles. We value feedback and suggestions from our customers. If you have any questions, recommendations, suggestions for future classes, or if you would like to schedule a training session, please contact us at training@212software.com.
