Collections Module Enhanced

We recently released an update to the Collections module in the TOPS Professional™ program, which provides customers the option to define which charge codes are used when categorizing homeowners. Several states have implemented laws which restrict communities from collecting money owed on certain types of charges. One example is where a community cannot include assessed fines as part of the normal collections process. In addition, customers from the East Coast to the West Coast have requested the ability to control what charges the collections module looks at, when processing collections.

This feature can be found in AR - Collections - Collection Table and Process Collections. You will see a new button at the bottom of each window called "Select Charges". This button will open another window to allow you to select which charge codes should be included when processing collections. Each community will 'remember' your selected charges.
