What are we working on?
While the majority of our development staff is focused on our next generation product, TOPS OnPoint™, we do have a few key developers dedicated to helping us enhance our current products. These developers continue to provide critical contributions to the development of our current products. Below are enhancements or modifications currently in process.
In Quality Assurance
- Enhanced global CCR functionality for TOPS Standard (TOPS On-SiteT) - We have taken our global features, like batch entry and batch close, in the CCR module of TOPS Professional™ and expanded them to also work in our TOPS Standard (TOPS On-SiteT) product. This enhanced capability will provide our TOPS Standard (TOPS On-Site™) customers with the same ease and flexibility as our TOPS Professional™ customers. We have also incorporated some of your request to enhance the global features within the CCR module. When you change a date in an action table the system will automatically re-compute the remaining action dates below. We are adding an Inspection Date field to the Batch Entry process which allows you to specify when you actually performed the inspection. We are also enhancing the ride list report to accurately print violations based on the next inspection date.
- Mobile Manager for TOPS Standard (TOPS On-SiteT) is currently in QA and should be released by the end of August.
- Enhanced Collections Functionality - With this enhancement customers will be able to select which charge codes will be used to determine a homeowner's delinquency balance.
- Enhance TOPS Professional™ Owner Database to allow for an override of the default city and state on the property record.
- Enhanced website updating options between TOPS Professional™ and your community websites
- Bank Integration Module (BIM) which provides a better user interface for customer with multiple bank options.
Each of these enhancements needs to be thoroughly tested and documented by our QA team prior to release, to ensure we do not disrupt your business.
In Development
- Expand number of Bank Accounts to 99 per community.
- Enhanced Late Fee processing and options to allow the late fee to be a flat amount, a percentage amount or a combination of flat late fee plus a % late fee. Allow for dollar cutoffs to allow for a potential higher flat fee or higher flat fee plus % late fee.
- Expanded Online AP approval details to allow viewing of distribution details during approval process.
- Enhanced Phone Messenger tracking and reporting capabilities.
On the Drawing Board
- Enhanced email capability for statements and notices.
- Electronic Bank Reconciliation
As you can see we are very busy working to bring you the enhancements and features you've requested. We will be discussing additional updates and releases in future Ezines.
